Why I Make Recycled Jewellery

Why I Make Recycled Jewellery

A Little Spark of Inspiration ✨

When I first started making jewellery, I didn’t set out to build a business — I just wanted to make beautiful things. But over time, I realised that beauty feels even more special when it carries a purpose. That’s when I fell in love with creating recycled earrings and necklaces — pieces made from materials that already had a story.

Old buttons, vintage games counters such as tiddlywink, discarded packaging — these became the heart of my designs. Each find inspired me to breathe new life into something forgotten and give it a second chance to shine.

Creating Beauty from What Already Exists 🌍

The world doesn’t need more waste, but it can always use more creativity. By making eco-friendly jewellery from upcycled materials, I get to turn scraps into treasures. Every time I sit down at my workbench, I’m reminded that even small things can make a difference — one earring, one necklace, one spark of inspiration at a time.

I love the challenge of transforming discarded materials into modern, wearable art. Each pair of recycled earrings or sustainable necklaces becomes a conversation piece — a reminder that style and sustainability can coexist beautifully.

Why It Matters 💚

The jewellery industry often relies on new metals, stones, and plastics, but I believe we can do better. Choosing recycled and handmade jewellery means less waste, less mining, and more appreciation for what already exists.  Plus, all of my designs are one-offs so each time you purchase, you are investing in something totally unique.

When you wear one of my eco-friendly necklaces or upcycled earrings, you’re not just wearing jewellery — you’re sharing in a movement of conscious creation. It’s my way of giving back to the Earth while celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and connection.

Thank You for Supporting Sustainable Art 🌱

By choosing recycled jewellery, you’re helping reduce waste, support handmade craftsmanship, and celebrate thoughtful design. Your choice matters — and it inspires me to keep creating pieces that honour both beauty and sustainability.

From my hands to yours, thank you for being part of this journey. 💛
